A Spirit Contemporary Church is sensitive to the group of people they are trying to reach, but doesn't compromise the flow of God. It has an ability to communicate God and church in a way that attracts people, but also has the Spirit of God flowing in it in a way that changes lives and sees the miraculous.
Being contemporary may mean something different from city to city and even from people group to people group. Contemporary this year is different than contemporary next year. Being contemporary simply means you are willing to adapt your style and approach in order to best connect with those you aim to reach. It does not require you to change your core beliefs and values.
